An Unforgettable Culinary & Wine Experience in the Willamette Valley
Join us for a vibrant afternoon of cooking, wine, and connection in the heart of Oregon wine country! Chef Amy Civica, The Kitchen Fairy, teams up with Boyd Teegarden, Owner & Winemaker of Natalie’s Estate Winery, to guide you through an interactive culinary journey.
Together, you’ll discover how handcrafted wines elevate fresh, seasonal dishes—while rolling up your sleeves for some hands-on fun in the kitchen.
Here’s what awaits you:
Welcome Bite & Sip – Kick things off with crisp bruschetta paired with the perfect glass of wine. You will learn to make 3 types of Bruschetta – traditional tomato, savory mushroom, and fruit and cheese.
Hands-On Cooking Demo – Learn to make pillowy, handmade gnocchi during an engaging demo, then craft your own portion to take home. You will learn how to make 3 types of gnocchi sauces – meat sauce, pesto and brown butter sage.
Tasting & Pairings – Sample chef-inspired gnocchi variations, each paired with a thoughtfully chosen Natalie’s Estate wine.
Sweet Finale – Indulge in a decadent wine-infused chocolate cake, paired with a luscious pour.
Recipes & Take-Home Treats – Head home with recipes, a gnocchi rolling board, and your own handmade gnocchi to recreate the flavors anytime.

Casual Cooking Class & Wine Dinner with Natalie’s Estate at Kopitos Cocina
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of hands-on cooking, delicious wines, and gourmet Mexican flavors at Kopitos Cocina in Newberg. The pairing of wine and gourmet Mexican food has developed beautifully over the last few years in America. We are lucky to have Kopitos Cocina restaurant introducing this concept locally in Newberg.
In this interactive class, you’ll learn to make authentic tamales and fresh guacamole while sipping on hand-selected wines from Natalie’s Estate Winery. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or brand new to the kitchen, this casual class is designed to be fun, approachable, and delicious.

On the Menu:
- Fresh Guacamole (GF) with house-made tortilla chips
Chicken & Veggie Tamales with queso fresco and jalapeños – wrapped in corn husks and steamed in a traditional tamale pot
Wine Pairings:
- 2023 Natalie’s Estate Chardonnay
- 2022 Natalie’s Estate Zinfandel
While the tamales steam, you’ll enjoy wine pairings and a relaxed dinner experience. You’ll even take some tamales home to share—or to save for yourself!
What to expect from the class:
- Dinner that you have created and wine pairings are included in the ticket price!
- All ingredients, tools, recipes, and instructions are provided.
- Demo + hands-on teaching by Cristina Fuentes, a chef of 25 years.
- Boyd Teegarden, owner and winemaker of Natalie’s Estate Winery, will pour the wines to be paired with your dinner and throughout the cooking class!
- Wines available for purchase at the end of the night for a 20% discount.
- You will also be able to take home some of the tamales you have made!
