WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING…

Warm and friendly…

Your winery is so warm and friendly. It’s like visiting a good friend who has lots of amazing wine to share!

Five-Star Rating Well-Deserved!

We visited because of a wine-cheese pairing event (that I think I discovered through Eventbrite??). I see now, post-event, that they have a 5.0 star rating. If this was based on a handful of reviews, I’d totally discount it. But based on around 50 reviews, and my own experience, I actually buy it. Read the complete review here.

A unique & personable experience-

“If you want a tranquil & personable experience with something other than 8 to 10 Pinot Noirs, visit Boyd and Jeff at Natalie’s Estate. What a great experience. I could have sat and talked with these gentleman about wine, viticulture and experiences for hours. They have different tasting rooms so we got 1 on 1 attention for our tasting experience. They also have a good variety of wines, from Rose to Cabs to Meritage, the list goes on. The best part is, there wasn’t a bad one in the flight! You can tell they take pride in their wines and what they do. I appreciated that. Small production but what they thrive is quality and customer service, not quantity. Beautiful and rustic views and venue as well. I highly recommend visiting Natalie’s Estate Winery.”

Make a reservation, drink great wine, make sure you take home the Meritage.

“Willamette Valley is filled with many wineries that are overpriced and pretentious with very boring wines and tepid wine drinking experiences. Natalie’s is not one of those destinations. Not only is the experience approachable and authentic, but the wines are stellar and priced well. If you are getting Pinot’d out Natalie’s has a great Malbec and Meritage Wine. The experience was made special by their old world touch of bringing out a charcuterie plate so that you can taste the wines with food. Jeff served us and was very genuine and knowledgeable. Boyd, the owner, sat down and traded some great stories and truly made this a repeat destination for both myself and my parents. Make a reservation, drink great wine, make sure you take home the Meritage.”

A Wonderful Spot!

“Wonderful spot! A great mix of wine offerings that span Columbia Gorge red fruit to delicate Willamette Valley Pinot. Down to earth owners who throw generous tastings and host private events. There is always a hunk of cheese or some truffles out on the table. Love seeing Boyd in town during coffee breaks and hearing what’s up in the vineyard. Definitely a local gem to support.”

What took so long?

Know how when you finally get around to doing something you intended to for a long time, you wish you had done it so much earlier? That’s how I felt when I finally visited Natalie’s Estate Winery in Newberg. I had noticed the blue TOD (Tourist Oriented Directional) sign for Natalie’s and always intended to stop. Finally I did, and it was a real treat.

Natalie’s Estate 2016 Estate Pinot Noir – 91 out of 100 points!

“The un-filtering is evident in the colour and unique texture of this wine. With haziness in the glass, and an old-school rustic feeling, this wine has great development with notes of strawberry and raspberry fruitiness, combined with a balanced acidity. Its complexity, evident layers, and quality is thanks to the vines that are more than 20-years-old; such old vines are not very common in the Willamette Valley yet.”

Our Favorite Stop

“This was our favorite stop on our helicopter wine tour (Tour deVine by Heli). Such a warm and cozy tasting room with equally warm people running it. We felt so relaxed here. They seem to be one of the few wineries in the area that actually make cabernets and they are excellent. This was the only winery we visited on our tour that we purchased wine from and now looking back I wish we had purchased more! We bought 2 bottles intended for Christmas gifts and I have been so tempted to just open them for myself! Please visit this winery, and if you can do it as part of a helicopter wine tour, even better!”

A Special Secret

“This is a gem of a place…it’s completely and pleasantly different from any wine experience I have had in the Napa area. This was so personable. Connor’s warm personality mixed with Natalie’s well appointed wines makes this place a must when venturing to Oregon for wine tasting. Private tasting, provided with cheese, meats, crackers and chocolate. Small quantity winery with great scenic background. Thank you for such a memorable experience.”

They have a focus and fondness for big reds just like we do!

“We love Natalie’s and can’t say enough great things about it. The owners/wine makers Boyd and Cassandra are fantastic. This winery has a feel and style all of its own. The tasting room is charming. Tastings are by appointment only so you get a sit down meeting with the wine maker and play by play on each one you taste. They always make you feel like family. Unlike other vineyards we’ve been to in Oregon, they don’t just specialize in pinot noir. We’ve done many tastings in the Willamette valley and this is still the only vineyard/wine club to which we belong!”

This beautiful Boutique Winery is a must see for every traveler

“This very special “Boutique Winery” has some of the most outstanding wines in the Willamette Valley. All crafted brilliantly by the Wine Maker, Boyd and Cassandra Teegarden. The tasting room is beautiful, roomy and down to earth. You will come away from this experience having made new friends and with a few bottles of their treasured wines… A Must Have Experience!!”

Lovely property and excellent wines!

“My husband and I recently took a wine tasting trip to the Willamette Valley. Being from California we were not quite sure what to expect. We were just excited to try Oregon Pinots. Our favorite was a small family run winery in Newberg. The setting was very picturesque and intimate. We tasted several different varietals and loved them all…especially their estate Pinot Noir! A must stop if you are in the region!”

Best Big Reds in Willamette Valley

“Natalie’s is a small “boutique” winery that has been producing what we think are the finest wines in the Willamette valley and at a price point that is unbeatable. Rather than sticking to just the Pinot Noir that the region is known for (and they produce a great one), Boyd brings in Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and other varieties from the Columbia valley and makes stunningly good wines year after year.”

Our favorite local winery!

“Boyd and Cassandra are the wonderful owners who make every tasting experience personal and enjoyable. Boyd creates a variety of beautiful full-bodied wines that never disappoint! The sign above the door that reads, “Enter as Strangers, leave as Friends” is absolutely true!”

A hidden gem in the Oregon wine country

“Natalies Estate winery is a great family owned winery. Cassandra and Boyd are genuine and wonderful in terms of their presentation. The wines are finely crafted and full bodied with long term aging potential. The variety of these single vineyard wines is extensive with both red and whites represented. I would heartily encourage you to check out this hidden wine gem in Newberg, OR.”
